| A nipple which allows a baby to do
adequate peristaltic movement (waving) to suck the milk
is a good one. A baby does not suck the milk by biting
a nipple with his jaw. The most important point is that
the nipple should allow a baby to use his tongue adequately.
Therefore, an appropriate amount of milk must come out
from the eye of a nipple. A nipple from which excessive
milk comes out would prevent a baby from using his tongue
correctly. Therefore, make sure you choose the right size
nipple for your baby which they can hold tightly in their
mouth. |

| A nipple which is difficult to
suck and from which a baby does not get milk easily
is not considered a good nipple. Appropriate nursing
time is 10-15 minutes using normal sucking movements.
The baby may get tired if it takes longer than expected.
PIGEON has prepared nipples with 4 types of holes
to ensure there is a right nipple for your baby.
The average diameter of the nipples of mothers tested
was 13-14mm, and PIGEONs nipples are designed
on the basis of this size and hardness of the nipples.
Therefore, a baby can suck milk from them with a
relaxed feeling. |
